Open links and notifications

Open a task, report, gallery item, or broadcast from a message, email, or push notification.

Who can do this​

Signed-in users whose device environment matches the link (for example, the everyday production app for production links).

Before you begin​

Install the app and sign in. Allow Mobile push notifications in Account if you want alerts on this device. Grant the system notification permission when the device asks.

Steps — Mobile​

  1. Tap the notification or the ReStore link.
  2. If you are not signed in, sign in. The app opens the item afterward when it can.
  3. If you see an environment mismatch message, you opened a link for a different server than the one this install is using. Use the matching app or ask support.
  4. If you land on a permission message, you are signed in but cannot view that item.

What happens next​

The app selects the project and opens Tasks, Reports, or Gallery as needed. Broadcast links open the announcement from the Tasks area.

Troubleshooting​

  • Nothing happens when you tap — sign in, then tap the link again.
  • You do not have permission to view this report (or similar) — ask the sender to check assignment and access.
  • Session expired — sign in again, then retry.
