Broadcasts
Broadcasts are project announcements. Coordinators use them for instructions that should reach people on the project.
Why it matters
Broadcasts are not the same as a task or a report. They are one-to-many announcements.
How it works
- Web: open Broadcasts in the project sidenav. People with create access see Create Broadcast.
- Mobile: broadcasts are not a bottom tab. Open them from the megaphone control. The icon can show how many you have not read. You can open a broadcast, read the message, view attachments, and comment. Creating new broadcasts is done on the web, not in the app.
Opening a broadcast marks it read for you. Empty projects show that broadcasts added to the project will appear here.
