Permission groups

A permission group is the set of access rights your administrator assigns to users. In the web sidenav this area is labeled Permissions; the page title is Permission Groups.

The app does not show a job title such as “field associate” or “manager”. What you see depends on the access you were given. Organisations customise group names.

Why it matters

What you see in Admin and My Projects (and which mobile actions appear) depends on your permission group. If an option is missing, you usually need a different group or an administrator change—not a workaround.

How it works

  • Administrators open Admin → Permissions to view Permission Groups and Create New Permissions.
  • Groups control actions such as reading or creating tasks, reports, stores, and users.
  • Platform operators for the Restore Global organization have additional access for tenant-wide tools.
  • Asking a teammate to share a link does not grant access if your group forbids that page.

Out-of-the-box organisations may start with seeded groups such as Administrator, Merchandising Lead, Merchandiser, Store Supervisor, and Associate. Those names are starting points only.
